I do the majority of the work on my cars myself, but when it comes to something I cannot do, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and friendly — anytime I’m there it feels like I’m socializing with fellow Saab enthusiasts rather than waiting at a mechanics shop. Great people, great work. Plain and simple.

Dear European Specialists, Thank you John, Roxanne and Kim for a wonderful first time service experience on my older Saab. I went to a local Saab dealership for years and one other “Saab Specialist” but often felt overcharged and they lacked the follow-up on what was really needed for my car during the time of service. So my search began to find a reputable company to service my Saab and you exceeded my expectations with an exceptional eye for service detail from my worn back tires to torn wiper blades during my oil change. I stopped in to schedule an oil change and they took my car in on the spot. After they made some recommendations that the car may benefit from but did not try to force me into buying anything. Offered appointments with a loaner car if necessary. It was a great experience and I will definitely go there for repairs and regular maintenance.

We’ve had my son’s 2006 Audi serviced here for two years. Little skeptical at first because they seemed to focus on Saabs, but that concern changed quickly as they handled the Audi reliably and inexpensively compared to the usual dealer rip-off. Car was done on time, within estimates and they called before doing anything major. Great attitude, knowledgeable team.

We were driving home to NJ from Boston on I-95 on June 15 when the car suddenly stopped and would not restart. We didn’t know where we were or what to do. The wonderful CT Highway Assistance Motorist Patrol suggested Swedish Performance, since they were near where we had broken down. So we called, and they said they thought they could help us even though we were driving a Mercedes. AAA towed us to them, and there we were, stuck and stranded in Branford at 2pm on a Wed afternoon. Swedish Performance was terrific! They told us to get a bite to eat at the Greek diner next door, and even gave us a discount card to use, while they looked at the car. By 3pm they had ascertained the problem (a failed electronic sensor which cut off the engine), and had called a nearby Mercedes dealer and ordered a replacement part. A little after 5pm they had us back on the road homeward bound. Swedish Performance treated us like a regular customer, even though they knew they would probably never see us again, and treated our emergency as their own. We highly recommend Swedish Performance as they are friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. Thank you to all the staff who got us back on the road again so promptly and efficiently!
